Additional Information

GHOST BOX is "Lounge music for the modern dungeon." It supports the Dark Ambient community and related artists through broadcasting and promotions. Dark Ambient is includes Industrial Ambient, Ritual Ambient, Drone, Death Industrial, Experimental Music, Found Sound, Spoken Word and other musicks which lend towards the darkly atmospheric. Tonight's showcase features a smattering of acts that GHOST BOX is fond of. Overly violent, nihilistic power electronics from Chicago, IL, MACHISMO is a dual vocal trio incorporating harsh noise and a confrontational live presence. Having done prior time in several hardcore bands, the group takes power violence dynamics and apply it to noise. GOD VOLUME 2 is LULU of GEL SET and NICOLE GINELLI of HEAD/HEAD, coming together to form like a minimal-synth Voltron, which is what the world really wants anyways. The alien known as JUSTIN MARC LLOYD, aka PREGNANT SPORE, performs audible, experimental, avant cathartics with live electronics, tapes, vinyl, synths, guitar, and vocals. Another mind-numbing solo-synth dude, JEREMY DOWNS performs as LYMTRONICS and his ambient-techno, synth-heavy tunes will bounce around in yer noggin like a couple of bouncy balls on a first date. PEPPERMINT GEORGE WASHINGTON's name may not make any sense, but their music does. PGW is a four piece electronic powerhouse composed of four ex-monks turned marines turned experimental electronic musicians who's claim to fame is that each member has slow danced with Genesis P.Orridge at four separate weddings, which is just downright ridiculous, and you don't wanna miss what these fellas are gonna bring to our stage tonight. DJ ĦΔZΔŘĐ will be spinning - you guessed it - dark ambient tunes throughout the night.
