"I saw this kid wearing a t-shirt, saying, everyone loves a Jewish boy. I was like dude, have you heard of the holocaust?"
"Most guys, they go to bars and nightclubs to meet women not me I go to Bed, Bath and Beyond and hang out by the shower curtains."
A lot of people want to be Dragon Slayers, but only Andrew Ginsburg slays comedy like a true renaissance warrior. Wielding a dry wit as sharp as a sword, on his new album DRAGON SLAYER he tackles topics such as the origin of "Self Esteem," "Why Bed, Bath and Beyond" is the best place to pickup women, and s tory about a dragon named... "Ex-Wife."
Andrew's sophomore album, LIVE AT GOTHAM was recorded live at (you guessed it) Gotham Comedy Club in New York. The set features the fitness expert dishing on women and their bodies, vegans, and the truth. Of course he also has plenty to say about therapy, homeless marketing, and more about that dragon named ex-wife.
Ginsburg is a stand-up comedian/actor/writer and champion bodybuilder who has performed in comedy clubs and colleges across the country.
His TV appearances include "Saturday Night Live" where he was in the recent digital short "The creep" with Nicki Minaj, John Waters, and Andy Samberg. He was also in several other SNL shorts as a shirtless gay spartan warrior, roman guard, and male model (it pays to be funny and be a champion body builder). He has also appeared on "The Sopranos," "All My Children," "As the World Turns," "The Guiding Light," and "One Life to Live."
Just some of this club performances: Carolines on Broadway, The Comedy Connection, The Comedy Studio, The Comic Strip Live, Nick's Comedy Store, The Comedy Cellar, The Comedy Palace, New York Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, Governor's Comedy Cabaret, The Improv, Standup New York, Boston University and William Patterson University, Adelphi University, Fairleigh Dickinson University and Bard College.
