Additional Information

Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band
Formed from the most talented deadbeats and drifters that could be rounded up, this group of raucous
and rambunctious musicians will honk, wail, blow, beat, bounce, scream and serenade their way into
your hearts. Playing anything that won’t break from vigorous use; their instrumentation is a unique
blend of brass, winds, violin, accordion and an eclectic rhythm section.
Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band combines the rich musical history of the circus and the
vagabond peoples of Europe with the raw energy of avant-garde jazz, the burning heat of funk and the
irreverence and fun of today's Vaudeville for a sound that is somehow familiar yet like no other.

Vana Mazi
VaNa MaZi was born through a mutual interest in culture and a love for the music of the People (Folk). With a song bank collected through  years of travel, they fuse together the music of Greece, Italy, Central Asia, and the Balkans with Gypsy Jazz, Turkish beats, and a pinch of their own American heritage. They strive to perform, arrange, and compose music that challenges the listener to open their ears and experience something new, something ancient, something contradictory even, yet something that is most definitely moving forward through space at a speed that cannot be measured merely in 4/4 time.

Dr. Rah & His Brass Zombsemble

Dr. Rah is a Bokor, or witch doctor, who parted from his earthly body during World War II, and since then has used his Voodoo powers from beyond the grave to possess various individuals to do his bidding. After spending years pining for his beloved jazz and swing, he became enamored with the hard, heavy sounds of the last few decades. He has come back to gather a marching band of zombie minions to perform his favorite songs, and slip in his voodoo skills to make more followers out of his audience. The shows are Voodoo festivals of Mardi Gras-inspired debauchery, where all are welcome - and all are prey to his evil powers. WATCH OUT! No one is safe from his spell!
