Zo! is Detroit born and raised multi-instrumentalist/producer, Lorenzo Ferguson. Largely known for his solo work, Zo! has also collaborated with a variety of artists including GRAMMY-winning musical director/producer Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson, two-time GRAMMY-nominated singer/songwriter Eric Roberson, Phonte, Anthony David, Sy Smith, Slum Village, and Little Brother, among many others. In 2008, he became the Musical Director for the touring band that accompanies GRAMMY-nominated duo The Foreign Exchange. With the release of his new album, ManMade on May 21, 2013, Zo! hit another level. ManMade spent three consecutive weeks on the R&B Billboard charts and its second single "Count To Five" has been featured on ESPN's "Numbers Don't Lie" during the entire month of July 2013. This show in St. Louis features vocalist Carmen Rodgers and is part of the nation-wide ManMade Tour.
Mississippi born Carmen Rodgers has made her mark over the past several years as one of the bright stars of the independent soul movement – both as a singer and as a sought-after songwriter. Rodgers began performing as a child, and by her teen years was regularly singing in choirs around Dallas. She attended Kansas State University to study both engineering and music, but moved to music full time upon her return to Dallas. She then landed a gig as a backing vocalist for soul singer N'dambi while also writing songs for numerous other artists. “The Bitter Suite”, part one of Carmen’s highly anticipated sophomore album, was recently released to rave reviews worldwide, and the melodramatic EP aims to dazzle listeners with a captivating and compelling R&B, Jazz and Neo-Soul mix. Her intoxicating vocals will serve as beautiful support to Zo!’s master musicianship and production for the ManMade Tour stop in St. Louis.
