The Funky Dawgz Brass Band is taking the music of New Orleans to a whole new level. Hailing from Connecticut the Funky Dawgz recently immersed themselves in the music and culture of the New Orleans, performing with the likes of Glen David Andrews, the TBC Brass Band, and members of the Soul Rebels Brass Band. From the first beat of the bass drum to the last stroke on the snare the Funky Dawgz Brass Band will always Shut It Down!
A Royal Noise 9:30pm
Philadelphia’s premier jazz-funk collective. Drawing from vintage and contemporary influences alike, they are forging an ebullient fusion of sinewy funk, gritty jazz, psychedelic rock and live hip-hop elements with a distinctly southern flavor.
Great Blue 8:30pm
Great Blue is a dub reggae rock fusion Jamband from New York City. Originating in High School, this quartet now plays many shows throughout the Northeast. As guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards; they constantly push the limits of their sound into the stratosphere and beyond, allowing for a cosmic blend of music to erupt at every show.
Kim Torrence Fusion Band 7:30pm
KIM TORRANCE FUSION BAND is a guitar driven instrumental trio that mixes funk, rock and jazz elements in original music with a hard edge. The group has been playing together for 3 years since the release of their debut CD “Nexus” in the fall of 2010.
