Additional Information

MATH THE BAND

Kevin's been doing this since he was 12 - making electronic music on his PC in his bedroom, influenced by daydreams of analog synths and video games. He started playing high-energy shows as a teenager. Justine joined him in Math the Band in 2007. Math the Band has played somewhere around 800 shows all over the country, Canada, Mexico and in the United Kingdom. They've been able to open for Matt & Kim, Dan Deacon, RJD2, Japanther, Wheatus, Afrika Bambaataa, mc chris, Polysics, Vivian Girls, MC Frontalot, Peelander-Z, Bomb the Music Industry, Monotonix, MC Lars and Anamanaguchi. They just completed a nationwide tour with Andrew WK to celebrate I GET WET's 10 year anniversary. They love playing shows and touring. Math the Band just released their new album GET REAL on Rhode Island's Anchorbrain Records.

THE RUNAWAY FIVE

The Runaway Five are a band born in the desert and living in the city of Chicago. A love of loud guitars, square wave synth leads, and impressive video game collections brought these four together. They play sci-fi music. The R5 blend consists of guitar-driven rock, Nintendo Gameboys, and hook-filled dance music-- the kind of music someone in an 80s movie might have imagined people would listen to in the future. Influenced by The Talking Heads, The Cars, and 8-bit battle music, The Runaway Five many recordings available at music.therunawayfive.com!

DUCK

Trio from Chicago drawing influence from bands such as Death From Above 1979, OFF!, Drugs [the band], the Patriots.
