Half Acre make some of our favorite thing - delicious beer. It only makes sense that they're coming on board with us to present Southern Cali "Beach Goth" sextet THE GROWLERS return to the Bottle after their show last year supporting their flawless Everloving-released EP, Hot Tropics. This past Record Store Day, the six released a brand new 7", Gay Thoughts, a unique blend of woozy, reverb-drenched gypsy/surf and their live shows have been said to fall somewhere between a carnival sideshow and a surrealist beach party. Super fun pop-punk duo THE HUSSY released a new LP, Shrieking Hipsters. last month that was praised by Maximum Rock n Roll as "lyrically clever and musically talented. THE HUSSY is total rock, complete with sleazy, distorted solo-ing and bizarre, chant-like lyrics." How to describe openers THE STRANGER? "Who is your favorite band? THE STRANGER sounds more or less like that, combined with that group you always wanted to check out because your most musically aware friend, the one who is always one step ahead of you, constantly references them in passing conversation like you are a complete miscreant for not already having all of their albums." Sounds like the perfect way to kick off a beer party, eh?
