Empty Bottle, Chicago, IL
21 years and over
Some of our favorite Philly-bred rockers, BLEEDING RAINBOW return to the Bottle for their first headlining gig at our club tonight. The noise-rockers have opened for A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS and THE CAVE SINGERS here in the last year, and they're touring in support of last year’s Yeah Right, out via Kanine Records. A full-blown, badass and trippy-as-shit assault on your ears, the record pushes the extremes of murky, ominous and sometimes harsh and fuzzed-out guitar onslaughts, while also exploring more hushed, ethereal moments that evoke psychedelic, reverb-soaked shoegaze-pop. They’ve created something beautiful from harsh noise, something you’re not going to want to miss live. Boston trio FAT CREEPS are touring along with BLEEDING RAINBOW for this run of dates and we can't wait to witness their snarly, surfy garage attack live. Chicago's own VERMA open up tonight's show, playing their progressive psychexperiment that's atmospheric, synth-heavy and tranced the fuck out. They celebrated the release of their newest record this past October when they opened for MOON DUO and we were lucky enough to host them on the Saturday of this year's HoZac Blackout Fest. It's pretty much a 100% guaranteed that each live show will blow you away no matter what the setting so get here early (and often) tonight.
