Celebrating their 10th year in existence, Louisville's COLISEUM return with their fourth full-length, the stunning Sister Faith, to be released on April 30 on Temporary Residence Ltd. Expanding on the anthemic direction they've taken in recent years, the trio is as dynamic and captivating as ever on the new album. COLISEUM's bristling, crushing attack is a vicious hybrid of punk and noise-rock and tonight's show will prove that the band have hit a new peak in an already impressive career. SWEET COBRA release albums so heavy and epic that Alternative Press has asked, "Why aren't these guys huge again?" They're huge to us, AP, they're huge to us. Consistently bashing us against the wall and throwing us to the gutter, SWEET COBRA combine plodding, ominous riffs with thunderous drums and caveman vocals, turning it up to 11 for a whole new level of ass-kickery. Our friends PINK AVALANCHE are no strangers to the Bottle and the Chicago four-piece opens tonight's show with their driving and melodic post-punk. Featuring guitarist/vocalist CHE ARTHUR of ATOMBOMBPOCKETKNIFE (among others), drummer ADAM REACH of THE POISON ARROWS (among others), guitarist KORTLAND CHASE of CHATTY CATHY (among others) and bassist PETE CROKE of TIGHT PHANTOMZ (among others), the group formed early last year and are prepping the release of their debut full length, Wraiths.
