21 years and over
All things, good and bad, must come to an end, even those influenced by space, destruction, infinity, doom, and beer, as Chicago's OYARSA describe themselves. Tonight is their final show and as we send them off in their flaming Viking funeral spaceship we'll remember all the good times and great shows these behemoths of riffage have shared on our stage. Melding black metal, sludgy doom and stoner grooves, OYARSA have been Bottle favorites for a while and we're honored to be the ones to send them off. If past shows are any indication, OYARSA's skull-crushing riffs and pummeling percussion are sure to flatten all who stand before them. Purveyors of ringing ears SUN SPLITTER grace our stage yet again, and we've still got raging hard-ons for their limited edition cassette on Land of Decay, Sun Splitter II. Featuring the artwork of TERENCE HANNUM, the cassette, like their live show, must be heard turned up to 11. The last few times we’ve seen WINTERS IN OSAKA, it seems they’ve gone past their punk influenced noise roots and the outfit is now creating quieter, spookier ambient/drone music and they open here tonight celebrating the release of their newest record.
