21 years and over
Harmonicraft is TORCHE in their most unfiltered form and the result is a collection of songs that prove that heavy music can be progressive without being predictable. From the relentless groove of "Roaming" to the melodic grandeur of "Kicking" and sinister syncopation of "In Pieces," Harmonicraft, released last year via Volcom Entertainment, stretches toward the sonic stratosphere and illustrates that the band are growing tighter and more powerful with each passing release. The band recently finished recording two new songs for a forthcoming 7" that will be released via Volcom in conjunction with their spring and summer tours in the UK, Europe and the U.S. It’s easy to think of KEN MODE as a new band, but many new fans may not realize that the Winnipeg-based trio has been playing together for over 13 years. This year’s Entrench, released on Season of Mist, has received considerable acclaim for melding metal, industrial, punk and noise-rock into a delightfully vicious package that beats the crap out of its listeners. TIGHT PHANTOMZ return to our stage after playing two shows with us at in November and December of 2012, and their monstrous new album Silk Prison is a years-in-the-making blend of classic rock, metal and punk that’s easily one of the best Chicago rock releases of last year. If you missed either of their shows cause of "holidays" or whatever, be sure to show up tonight to witness the PHANTOMZ in all their eye-winking, high-kicking glory. Opening tonight's show is Columbus, OH-based earth-shakers LO-PAN, a heavy-as-hell psych-rock four-piece who destroys everything in their path.
