Empty Bottle, Chicago, IL
21 years and over
THE STONE FOXES and non-profit SuperFood Drive (http://www.superfooddrive.org/) have teamed up for healthy hunger relief. In an effort to spread the word about this very important cause, THE STONE FOXES are encouraging fans to bring healthy non-perishable foods to their shows this spring. All food will be donated to community partners working in hunger relief, poverty, and homelessness.
THE STONE FOXES are a dirty, dirty blues rock band from San Francisco’s vibrant and eclectic rock’n’roll community and their highly-anticipated third record Small Fires dropped on February 12th. Fans across the country patiently awaited the band's newest effort and they’ve received praises from the likes of NPR for tackling “ambitious arrangements with diverse moods ranging from acoustic twang to thunderous electric guitar riffs.” BIONIC CAVEMEN return to the Bottle tonight, hearkening back to ye olde days of rock & roll when it was noisy and dirty and recorded without them fancy overdubs and such. Making their Bottle debut tonight, TRAIN COMPANY are a dirty blues rock band that disguises themselves as a bunch of classy gentlemen, blending numerous influences and funneling them into a passionate (and sweaty) live show. Don’t let their nice shirts and smiles fool you – this savage five-piece really “bring it” live and theirs squalling guitars are sure to delight tonight’s early attendees.
