Additional Information

On February 16, 2013, Marriage Michigan PAC is hosting "Marry The Night: A Benefit for Marriage Equality" at The Pyramid Scheme, 68 Commerce Ave. Grand Rapids, MI 49503. The event is all ages with a $5 cover. Suggested donation is $10. Valentine's Day Weekend colored attire (red, pink, and white) strongly encouraged.

Marriage Michigan PAC is a political action committee that will place a ballot initiative on the 2014 Michigan ballot to legalize same-sex marriage. 56% of likely voters approve of same-sex marriage, according to a recent poll by Michigan State University.

The event will feature 3 bands, a drag show, and a Date Auction, along with information for how you can get involved, how to donate, and other ways to support our campaign for marriage equality.

We will have a DRAG SHOW, hosted by Dalylah Desmond.

Performing in the Drag Show are the following entertainers:

Dalylah Desmond
Dymond Denae
April Evangelista
Eva Angelica
Dice Santana
Kylee Starr
Liliana Galore

DATE AUCTION- bid on gay men, lesbians, straight men, and straight women, to take on a date for a great cause!

SILENT AUCTION- bid on items, gift certificates, and gift baskets provided by Michigan businesses to fundraise for our campaign.

Members of Marriage Michigan PAC's Board of Leaders will be giving short speeches in between entertainment acts.

Marriage Michigan PAC will become a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization and political action committee, and donations to such organizations are not tax-deductible.

For our entire campaign in 2013-14, our goal is to raise $10 million to cover those political ads and campaign expenses, gather at least 330,000 signatures (goal of 500,000) to place a marriage equality measure on the Michigan ballot, and have the help of over 2,000 volunteers to make marriage equality a reality in Michigan.
