Sean Hoots (Of Hoots and Hellmouth)
"I can’t quite stress enough how heartbreaking and excellently executed this release is. Highway Birches is the sort of album artists can go a whole career trying to write." - AbsolutePunk
Small Houses (Pictured)
Small Houses is a Philadelphia based indie/folk project featuring the songs and poems of Flint native Jeremy Quentin. Artfully crafted finger-style guitar playing, and softly sung melodies describing the people, love, and homes of Quentin’s life.
“Quentin refuses to sleep sometimes, unable to rest on any complacency when it comes to what we find value in. he knows beauty and he knows sadness and it puts them into the same vase.” – Daytrotter
Chris Kasper is an American songwriter with a distinct "timeless" sound that has gained him a loyal fanbase in his hometown of Philadelphia and around the country. He has released 3 solo records since living in Philly (FlyingBoy '06, Chasing Another Sundown '09, The First Hundred Years are the Hardest '11) and 1 collaborative effort with Bluegrass/Folk ensemble, The Lowlands (Bark and Twine '07). With his 3rd solo record now available, you may rethink your idea of "singer-songwriter". Having toured with, and opened for, local heros Amos Lee and G. Love, as well as a ton of other national acts, Chris is setting his sights on touring full time.
