Canadian-born Greek guitarist and composer is known throughout the world for his high-energy mastery of music from the Mediterranean. He takes six-string sounds from Greece, Spain, Portugal, and then adds the strut of rock n’ roll and the bounce of contemporary pop. He’s done it with such incomparable flair and passion that he’s attracted the notice of Prince Charles (royalty still commands star power), Rik Emmett (Triumph, right?), and the executives at PBS, who gave Pavlo his own special. “Special” doesn’t even adequately describe what’ll happen tonight. We’re thinking more like fun. If you haven’t been to a Greek wedding or a Gypsy bash anytime recently, here’s your chance. We might not have any ouzo behind the bar or Spanakopita on the menu, but we’re certainly gonna party like a bunch of hell-raising Hellenes tonight!
