LE YIKES SURF CLUB (ex Dirty Tactics)
From the depths of a resurgence in the South Philadelphia socio-economic struggle, Le Yikes Surf Club blast off the sewer caps covered in ooze with clouds of green smoke trailing their path, like a teenage gang of mutant reptiles. With multi-colored proverbial masks over their faces, club members choose to return to their secret hideouts underground, below the watchful eye of competitive gangs of cutthroats looting and stealing while wearing smiling masks of their own.
The Bad Doctors have been active in the Philly music scene for about a year now. Its members are Brian Bullock, Luke Nally, and Matt McDermott. The band formed with the concept of creating serious and interesting rock and roll, in an attempt to fill the expanding void in Philadelphia's rock community. They formed a tight fan-base by playing house parties and basement shows relentlessly.
Kangaroo play noisy-garagey-indie-rock-pop... or something like that.
Chicago self-proclaimed "power duo" THE RANSOM has not existed for all that long a time, but since their birth, they have been captivating local audiences since their first performance in February 2012. Together, guitarist Mounts and drummer Goldstein create a driving force of rock and blues revivalism, bowing down to the likes of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Sonic Youth, and following in the footsteps of newer acts like JEFF The Brotherhood, Church Of Misery, and The Hives. Seeing The Ransom is an experience you won't forget.
