30th Anniversary Show

Russ Taff released his first solo project “Walls of Glass” 30 years ago in January 1983.

Don’t miss this special night!

Russ Taff, one of the most recognizable voices in Christian music, will make another rare Nashville appearance at famed music venue 3rd & Lindsley on Tuesday, January 22nd. Once again, Taff will hit the stage with The Alternators (a band made up of some of Nashville’s Elite studio and live musicians), performing his biggest hits from such projects as Wall of Glass, Medals, Under Their Influence and The Way Home.  Russ will also be joined by his long time guitarist and Grammy Award winning producer and co-writer James Hollihan, Jr.

The 6x GRAMMY and 11x Dove Award-winning recording artist first gained recognition as lead vocalist for The Imperials (1977–81), before moving on to become one of the most recognized and successful soloists in Christian music history. His music has won him a worldwide audience and critical acclaim, with Billboard calling him "the single most electrifying voice in Christian music." In addition to a prolific solo career, Taff has made several guest appearances on Bill Gaither's Homecoming concert tours and best-selling videos, and was a part of Gaither Vocal Band from 2001-2004, before making the decision to redirect his attention back towards his solo career.

His latest CD, Faroe Islands, has been nominated in three categories at last year’s GMA Dove Awards, where he was also honored with a special “Russ Taff Tribute” for his unforgettable contributions to Christian music.
