SF Sketchfest Presents

Scrooged

25th Anniversary Screening

with special guest Bobcat Goldthwait

Saturday, December 22, 5:30pm

Castro Theatre, $15

Bah-Humbug, the Bill Murray way! SF Sketchfest presents a 25th Anniversary screening of Scrooged, the dark comic update of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol starring Murray as Frank Cross, a cynical television programming executive whose cutthroat business practices have made him successful, but alone.  He coldheartedly fires his long-suffering yes man Elliot (Bobcat Goldthwait) on Christmas Eve, and is soon visited by three eccentric ghosts (played by John Forsythe, David Johansen and Carol Kane), who force him to look back on his life, and the one-that-got-away (Karen Allen). Will Frank get into the Christmas spirit or continue his mean-spirited ways?

Before the screening, special guest Bobcat Goldthwait will be on hand for a discussion and audience Q&A. Rated PG-13.
