We can’t wait to welcome some of our favorite Milwaukeeans back to the Bottle tonight – it’s the return of MARITIME!  An independent super group, of sorts, MARITIME features former DISMEMBERMENT PLAN member ERIC AXELSON and former PROMISE RING members DAN DIDIER and DAVY VON BOHLEN.  Released in 2011 via Dangerbird Records, their 4^th LP, Human Hearts is bright and urgent and features the crisp guitar shimmers that have become the outfit’s trademark sound. This time around, expect to hear many tracks from their stellar 2006 album We, the Vehicles as they’ve recently celebrated a special, limited quantity repressing that features some of their best songwriting. New York’s LOW CUT CONNIE blasted out of nowhere into outer space this year with their excellent, self-released LP Call Me Sylvia, out this past September. The record has critics swooning over the band’s muscular, gritty sound and All Music Guide hails the record for living “passionately and messily for the moment, and as Call Me Sylvia spills forth, it’s hard to not get swept into its giddy, filthy joy.” Newcomers WEDDING DRESS are certainly no strangers to the Bottle and we’re stoked to host their EB debut tonight! The band, which formed in early 2012, features members of MAPS & ATLASES, SUNS and JOAN OF ARC, and they combine their previous work to create meaty and substantial rock that’s filled to the brim with soul – definitely openers you don’t want to miss.
