"We are a punk/indie/something band from Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Since starting in 2008, we have seen both coasts of the US and most places in between. We will play in your kitchen or anywhere really."
Banquets’ refreshing take on melodic punk rock truly transcends any limitations of the genre. Of course you can talk of the band’s pedigree, Banquets lead singer Travis Omilian was the original singer for Let Me Run and other members have played in bands such as Outsmarting Simon, Static Radio NJ, The Stand In and The Banner, but all that undersells just how quickly Banquets have grown into their very own exciting entity.
"Hello. My name is PJ Bond, how are you? Well, I hope. I am a man who’s spent the better part of the last 15 years in basements, tour vans, on floors, and in and out of a variety of situations that all seem to begin and end with making and playing music. I am incredibly blessed to have been part of quite a few bands that I hugely appreciate, respect and love. Currently, however, I am playing music alone, under my own name, and singing songs that I believe in."
Gunner’s Daughter began playing music that made sense to them, that had substance and would break down scene stereotypes. They began writing songs wanting to be that current band delivering music comprised of what they grew up on. They also wanted to give the younger generation a chance to become familiar with the bands that they are immediately influenced by. Gunner’s Daughter are not breaking new ground or inventing a new sound, they are simply tipping their hats to the forefathers that paved the road before them.
