It's the end of the world as we know it (woof), maybe. Well, probably not, but it's fun to throw an End of the World Apocalypse Party, nahmean, and tonight's show features some of Chicago's hottest, wildest young bands around. Once again gracing us with their trashy-punk presence, RABBLE RABBLE have been known to cause fits of dancing and chaos by playing dirty, catchy songs off their 2010 debut album Bangover, an effort that landed them on Loud Loop Press' "11 Bands To Watch This Year" list. They just released a new video for the show "Cole's Bathroom" and they really let their hair down for it, showing off their kooky side while still thrashing and crashing around in the ways we know and love. Easily one of the fastest rising bands in Chicago's rock community, Chicago fuzzy garage rockers MAGIC MILK recently released their debut EP, Mellows earlier this spring via Slow Fizz, and while the EP is largely, well, mellow, anyone who’s been to a MAGIC MILK live show knows how quickly their set can turn into a raucous party.  In the words of One Kind Radio, “this EP is a nice stepping stone to getting into the ever-evolving kick ass sound of MAGIC MILK, however for the full effect… get out to one of their live shows!!!” Gritty, in-your-face rockers VAMOS call themselves Sexy Pizza Rock and like to bring listeners to the point where they feel like they've seen the edge, then push them off. Combining a lot of cymbal work, distorted guitar sound and heavy bass lines (with some tambo thrown in for good measure), VAMOS create an unholy cacophony and open here tonight. DJ Duo Ciarlanian are gonna be spinning rock and/or roll throughout the night, probably on vinyl.
