The Howl is a 4-piece indie-rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Their technical approach to rock music is fresh and energetic but still accessible to a diverse audience. They have spent the past 2 years writing and playing shows around the immediate Chicago-land area and have recently completed their debut EP entitled "900 Feet Beneath" that was released this September.
BOXSLEDDER (members of Johnny Bodacious and the Bad Attitudes)
Boxsledder is about taking a collective voyage into a realm in which no one has to grow up, everyone speaks solely in quotes from movies, bees are no longer endangered, and dreams come true. All whilst lacking talent, attractiveness, and witty mic banter. Also, sometimes they play music.
The Heavy Machine came together in the fall of 2011, gaining residence at a local bar and gigging around the Chicago Suburbs. Kristen Kridle (Guitar/Vocals/Songwriting), Justin Spencer (Bass) and Zack Darce (percucssion) have been building their arsenal from fragments of genres ranging from Bluesy Garage Rock, to Jazz and Funk; combining these elements to make a new sound of their own. Each with their own style to add to the mix, the three-piece clicked instantly. Their goal is short and sweet: to play music as much as possible, to connect with other musicians and music lovers alike, and to enjoy the ride.
Five strapping young gents, working together to bring music to the ears of the disenchanted youth of the world
