He was regarded in 2004 as one of finest freestyle rappers ever produced by Chicago. By 2007, he had a six-piece live band called, Juice and the Machine, who released a DVD, Juice And The Machine: Live At The Party, of their first live performance.

ROBUST

Previously heard on Meaty Ogre's 'Flibbertigibbit' single, as well as having made appearances on both Qwel's first album and Sage Francis' 'Still Sick…Urine Trouble,' With production from Meaty Ogre, Dj Whitelightning, Maker and more. Robust is sure to please any fan of chicago hip hop styles and beats!

QWEL (of Typical Cats)

Qwel came upon the hip hop scene with a vengeance. He began as a prolific graff writer in the late 90's with various crews around Chicago, and picked up rhyming by jumping in battle ciphers with Chicago's Nacrobats crew.

OLD IRVING (Galapagos 4 )

Hailing from the northwest side of Chicago comes a new crew combining the veteran skills of local MC Robust, and the live duel MPC production of beat-smiths Max and Pore. Coming off the success of the recent projects "Grown" and "Something to Sit on" on Chicago label Galapagos 4, the Old Irving crew brings a fresh approach to the run of the mil hip hop set. Replacing the classical method of a DJ, with the 2 producers playing drums and sample chops live off of their respective drum machines.

HELLSENT

Hellsent can be compared to no one. He is as original as his name is. His style of rap is dream like and mythical. He has an uncanny gift with words and speech. Each syllable is spoken with a hidden agenda; he’s almost ninja like with his ability to creep on you and leave you gasping for life with his deadly wordplay. He’s clearly ahead of his time.
