Additional Information

This funk/soul group consists of Joe Krown, Walter Wolfman Washington (guitar & vocals) & Russell Batiste (drums & background vocals). The combination of the soulful vocals of Walter with the big sound of the Hammond B-3 (which Joe also plays all of the bass parts on the B-3) and the masterful drumming skills of Russell Batiste Jr. has developed it's own unique sound. Their album "Live at the Maple" won a 2009 Offbeat Award for Best R&B/Funk CD. The trio also won a 2009 Big Easy Award in the "Best Rhythm & Blues Band" category.

Purchasing a General Admission ticket guarantees you entry to the show but does not guarantee seating. For guaranteed seating, purchase the GA/Dinner Combo ticket. Limited # available, first come first serve.

Johnny D's is a mix of table seating and standing room.

GA/Dinner price is the GA price plus $26.68 per person, which includes a 3 course meal, tax, and gratuity. For any additional purchases we reserve the right to add an 18% gratuity and 7% meal tax.

Day of show Johnny D’s will put aside all seats generally considered the best. You are welcome to enter dining room and choose your seats from those seats set aside or any other open tables. The earlier you get here, the more choices.

We will hold those seats for you until show time or 8:30pm, whichever is earlier. Show time is when any performer begins, including opener.

If you are running later, please call 617-776-2004 — ask for a floor manager — and we will continue to hold the seats up to 30 minutes longer. After this our kitchen may stop serving the menu items of the PSD package depending on particular show time. We try to serve the majority of our dinners before show time to lessen the disruption with the performance.

Once the show begins, any open tables will be first come, first serve for all patrons.
