Legendary recording artist, studio pioneer, and virtuoso guitarist Les Paul passed away at the age of 94 on August 13, 2009, due to complications from pneumonia. Joining the Les Paul Trio (LOU PALLO ? GUITAR, NICKI PARROTT - BASS, JOHN COLIANNI ? PIANO) this night will be Guitar Virtuosos STEVE MILLER. Opening for the Trio will be TW DOYLE - Long time engineer and guitarist for Les Paul.
Steve Miller is one of the most famous blues-rock guitarists to emerge from the 1960s. From his early days in San Francisco to his top-selling pop/rock hits of the '70s and early '80s "The Joker," "Fly Like an Eagle," "Rock'n Me," and "Abracadabra. Born in Milwaukee, Wi. in 1943 Steve was befriended by guitar pioneer Les Paul who was a frequent visitor to the Miller household and his considered Les?s ?Godson?. A portion of the door proceeds for this show will benefit the Les Paul Foundation dedicated to keeping his legacy alive for future generations.
