One of the hottest comedians in the UK, Daniel Kitson is making a rare US appearance this Monday July 30 at Mo Pitkins. Winner of the prestigious Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2002, Kitson has toured the world with his standup. In addition to having a big following, he is also a comedian's comedian, garnering praise from all sides of the comedy globe. (David Cross, John Oliver, Demetri Martin are all fans.) He recently won the Barry Award at the 2007 Melbourne Comedy Festival, and for the past 2 years won Fringe First Awards in Edinburgh for his "story" shows, "C-90" and "Stories For the Wobbly-Hearted."
